Tim Anzalone - Associate Architect

“It’s not worth it to use marble for what you don’t believe in, but it is worth it to use cinder blocks for that which you do believe in.” - Louis Kahn

Tim was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and the suburban ring that has expanded around it. His love of architecture grew not because the numerous lego sets that he went through, but rather because of Sabrina the Teenage Witch. He was obsessed with the design of the house that was shown on the screen and the layers and depth of the TV studio set made Tim want to be a part of whatever ‘that’ was. Later on at Drury University, Tim would discover that ‘that’ was called architecture.
Starting as an intern, Tim has been with Arkifex Studios since 2019. After obtaining his master’s degree in architecture, he is now in pursuit of his architect license. He has a strong knack for design and critique and tries to be proficient in a little bit of everything, always looking out for clients and their needs. In between drawing buildings, Tim is coaching the Drury Ultimate Frisbee team, playing guitar, watching St. Louis Sports or exploring the Ozarks.
