Gabby Giovanni - Interior Design Intern
“The best rooms have something to say about the people who live in them” - David Hicks
Born and raised in Springfield Missouri, Gabby was always rearranging her bedroom and spending hours sketching new ideas for her room. As she entered college she knew interior design was destined for her. Now, as an interior design student, she is broadening her understanding of how interior and exterior spaces connect. Now interning for Arkifex she is learning firsthand how architects shape structures from the ground up, Gabby hopes to deepen her design approach and create spaces that feel seamless, functional, and inspiring. She is especially drawn to timeless elegance, and functional beauty of mid-century modern design, which continues to influence her approach to interiors. Gabby’s design philosophy is that interiors should shape and reflect the people who live in them, rather than follow fleeting trends. She believes the most successful spaces are those that embody the personality, needs, and lifestyle of their owners. Gabby is currently a senior at Missouri State University pursuing a bachelor's in Interior Design. .
