The H2D2 office was designed for an organization dedicated to serving the Ozarks. In response, the architecture draws directly from the character of the region it calls home.

Shaped by the area’s rolling topography, the building’s form extend the rolling hillside rather than sitting apart from it. Then opening its south facade outward in a gesture inspired by the limestone bluffs that define much of the Ozark landscape, creating a form that is both grounded and expressive of its setting.

Locally sourced materials reinforce the touch and feel of its place, rooting the project in the landscapes, resources, and traditions of the region. The result is a workplace that reflects both the mission of its occupants and the enduring qualities of the Ozarks.
